Playwright for Young Adults

Playwriting | Award-Winning One-Act Plays

My character-driven plays include festival and competition winners.

While I most enjoy writing for young adult actors and mentoring young adult playwrights, my scripts have been enjoyed by actors and audiences across the country.

“January” was selected as the Pittsburgh New Works Festival’s Audience Choice. It tells the story of a mother and daughter through time, and their relationship to art, artists, and each other.

“Adventurers Anonymous (An AA Meeting)” is a cheeky look at famous lost adventurers. It has won students superior ratings at district competitions in the southeast and midwest.

“First Miss” is a personal favorite, performed in multiple iterations at the Dr. Phillip’s Center in Orlando, Florida, and setting up students for superior ratings at high school stages.
